Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I appreciated that I was able to space my trainings out to match my schedule and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of instructors I had. The manuals that accompany each training, in addition to the required readings are valuable resources that I refer to regularly. I feel that my practice and my classes benefited from the experience.

ogaFit remains at the forefront of the industry, setting the standard for excellence in yoga education and guidance. My journey with YogaFit dates back to 2008, and throughout the years, I've witnessed their unwavering commitment to innovation and advancement. It's truly remarkable how they consistently pioneer new paths in their programming, setting benchmarks that others strive to achieve. One noteworthy example of their trailblazing spirit is their early adoption of trauma-informed training. Long before it became a widely recognized and sought-after qualification, YogaFit recognized the importance of integrating trauma-informed practices into yoga instruction. This forward-thinking approach not only demonstrates their dedication to inclusivity and accessibility but also underscores their proactive stance in addressing the diverse needs of practitioners.

  • It was nice to be able to take my time to complete my yoga training modularly so that I could process what I learned and apply it to my classes soon after learning for better retention. It also made it more affordable in both time and money. I actually started teaching yoga in 2009 but did not receive my 200RYT until 2018 and my 500RYT until 2024. I believe I am a better yoga teacher because I studied and practiced all these years prior to getting my certifications.

Great flexibility to complete program as slowly or as quickly as you like/are able, according to your time/flexibility and course availability. Although I experienced the pleasure of in person training, it is also available online via synchronous training now.
