LaMor Silas is a C-IAYT Yoga Therapist, ERYT-500 Yoga Teacher and YACEP Provider with over 6,000 hours of teaching related to yoga and meditation in group and private sessions. LaMor is also a Senior Master Trainer with the YogaFit Worldwide RYS, Faculty Member and Mentor of the YogaFit Worldwide Yoga Therapy 900-hour Program, and their Yoga Nidra Program Coordinator.
LaMor has experience in offering Vinyasa, Power, Hot, Yin, Restorative, Gentle, Seniors/Chair, Prenatal and trauma-sensitive formats to those recovering from cancer or working through PTSD/TBI (military veterans and non-military), parkinsons, stroke management, and arthritis. I am a certified ACE Personal Trainer and YMCA Livestrong Coach at the YMCA and conduct personal training.
LaMor also conducts guided meditation sessions which include Yoga Nidra and the iRest (Integrative Restoration) protocol.
LaMor is a graduate of the YogaFit Worldwide RYS 120-hour Warrior trauma-sensitive program, 100-hr Ayurveda Lifestyle Coaching Certificate of Enhanced Qualifications as well as the 200-hr and 500-hr certification programs.
LaMor is a graduate of the iREST Level 1 Teacher Training through Integrative Restoration Institute (04/14) and Yoga Awareness of Cancer program through Duke University (06/14) as well as having participated in various Yoga for Healthcare seminars through the Life in Yoga Institute (10/16 and 04/17) and YogaFit Worldwide (2017-current).
