Arhanta Yoga is an international Yoga institute which started to give internationally accredited professional yoga teacher training courses in 2009. We are a registered Yoga school (RYS) with Yoga Alliance and International Yoga Federation. We believe in the ancient principles and strength of Classical Yoga and our mission is to share our knowledge and passion for Yoga and authentic Vedic philosophy. With our traditional yoga ashrams in India and in the Netherland and affiliated centers worldwide we spread the authentic teachings of Classical Yoga with altering them. Our goal is to guide people into practice of Yam and Niyams as a way of the life. We want to help people to increase their spiritual awareness and want to encourage all our students to spread their knowledge of Yoga and their understanding of love, compassion and peace.

I had the most incredible time during my 200h YTT at Arhanta ashram Netherlands. The training was really intensive, challenging, and so interesting. It allowed to acquire deep understanding of asana, a very good overview of what yoga is and, according to my students, excellent teaching skills. The teachers are all amazing people, and I could only recommend Arhanta Yoga to anyone who would want to take their 200h YTT.

The teaching program of Arhanta included all important aspects of yoga: philosophy, how to teach, meditation and lots of self practice. The teachers are very experienced and taught at a light hearted and down to earth way.

The RYT 300 hour YTT at Arhanta Yoga Ashram Europe was challenging but it was an excellent well rounded training program. I highly recommend this advanced teacher training to all yoga teachers that want to advance their education in classical authentic yoga. The teachers were excellent and highly experienced. I am so happy that I chose this program. It was a life changing experience and an opportunity of a lifetime. If I could give this program 10 stars I would!!

I've completed Prenatal, Postnatal and Mum & baby courses with Lucia Seglie and you can tell she's a very experienced teacher, giving clear and straight forward information. Thank you Lucia for all the support provided then and even now with your online community.

The PreNatal YTT course was exceptional. Very informative, thorough, interesting, and engaging content from the teacher throughout. I would highly recommend anyone to take the course if they are interested in teaching prenatal yoga classes.

Nestled amidst the serene beauty of Khajuraho, India, Arhanta Ashram Yoga Ashram offers a profound sanctuary for those seeking to deepen their spiritual practice and embark on a transformative journey. Having recently completed their rigorous 200-hour teacher training course, I can attest to the enriching experience this ashram provides. First and foremost, the organization and discipline upheld at Arhanta Ashram are commendable. The strict yet fair rules ensure a focused environment conducive to learning and self-reflection. This structured approach fosters a sense of commitment and dedication among students, enhancing the overall experience. One of the standout features of Arhanta Ashram is its isolated location, which facilitates an immersive spiritual experience. Surrounded by the tranquil beauty of nature, participants are able to disconnect from the distractions of the outside world and delve deep into their practice. The serene atmosphere fosters introspection and self-discovery, making it an ideal setting for personal growth. The teachers and assistants at Arhanta Ashram are undoubtedly the heart of the institution. Their unparalleled expertise and dedication to the craft of teaching are truly inspiring. Throughout the course, I was impressed by their deep knowledge and passion for yoga, as well as their unwavering commitment to guiding each student on their journey. The 'how to teach' classes were a particular highlight of the course. These sessions provided invaluable practical insights into the art of teaching yoga, covering everything from class sequencing to effective communication techniques. Under the guidance of the instructors, I gained confidence in my ability to lead a class and inspire others on their yoga journey. In conclusion, my experience at Arhanta Ashram Yoga Ashram was nothing short of transformative. From the well-organized structure to the stunning natural surroundings, every aspect of the ashram contributes to a deeply enriching experience.

I recently completed my 200hr hatha course in India. Overall, I had an amazing experience and would recommend it to others as I was happy with my decision to go. However I think there are a few things that should be mentioned. First is this not a yoga retreat with fancy and comfortable accommodations and 5 star food. It is at times a rather intensive immersion experience stripped of most of the comforts many are used to in the west with fairly full and active days. For me this is exactly what I was looking for, as I wanted an opportunity to get away from all the comforts and live more simply to see how my mind and body reacted to it. However, if not prepared it could be quite a jarring experience. My two biggest disappointments about the experience where the philosophy and evening programs. For me, one of the major reasons I went to a course in India was not for the yoga certification itself, but to learn about the practice, culture and philosophy behind yoga in the country it originated from and from a native teacher. The philosophy lectures all seemed rather rushed with only surface level knowledge. They also ended after the second week. This would have been fine if they had used the time in the day scheduled for evening programs a little more efficiently. During the 26 days at the ashram, only about 8 or 9 included an evening program, 5 of which were yoga nidra and ecstatic dance. While these were quite fun, It would have been nice to have used this time for some extra cultural learning experiences. That being said there were many things I absolutely loved. First and foremost were the teachers. Omkar was incredible. His knowledge, teaching ability, attention to detail, and care for the well being of his students went above and beyond what I could have asked for. He knew when to challenge us and when to hold back. He pushed us to grow, and the results showed in each of us by the end of the course. The teachers in training were also amazing and very caring. Another factor I was extremely happy with was the amount of hands on teaching experience you get. I did not imagine how comfortable I could become with teaching in such a short time, and I know many, if not most, of my classmates felt the same. I entered feeling very unsure about my ability to teach and left feeling confident that if I stayed dedicated to teaching, I could become a very competent and capable teacher. The last thing I will mention is my classmates. I'm sure this will vary from course to course, but the group I ended up with was incredible. They all cared for and supported one another and even made the aspects of program I was not entirely pleased with seem almost negligible. The experience would not have been nearly as memorable without them.
