As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Yoga Garden does a great job of bringing together the principles of Hatha Yoga with the philosophy of Patanjali’s Yoga, as well as modern anatomy and science to create a holistic program. The program also values diversity, and generates some of the most highly skilled teachers. The teachers here are absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend.

I thought the YTT-200 at Yoga Garden was high quality. The program had the best teachers I've ever had the pleasure of learning from. There is a good balance of discussion, practice, and online work. As I would expect in San Francisco, I thought the teachers had a diverse array of styles and experience. The cohort was also diverse and this is very intentional. I enjoyed the emphasis on diversity, cultural sensitivity, and spiritual practice that I did not find in other corporate YTT programs. The cohort are people I still talk to and would come back for more training programs in the future.

I was very happy with my YTT at Yoga Garden. It was a comprehensive, well rounded course that went into the required detail and taught me so much about my own practice as well.

The education for my 200 hr ytt was comprehensive and worthwhile! It was very useful to take such a deep dive into the postures and philosophies of yoga. I liked that the teachers I learned from had such a wide variation of teaching styles. I think for others in the program, it was hard to not have one uniform teaching method taught to them. Personally, I benefited from the variation of thought behind yoga, and I think it was a good example of what we experience in the yoga community at large. I also highly appreciated that it was a 30 day immersion program, which is why I personally chose the school. Not many schools in San Fransisco offer that kind of training, and I am grateful that I did it this way.
