The physical aspects of yoga first drew me in. I loved how strong and centered I would feel after a sweaty vinyasa class. But, the total mind-body-spirit transformation was something I was not expecting. I walked into my first yoga class in 2001, and the journey began.
I received my first yoga flow certification in 2011 nearly ten years after that first class. Since then, I’ve earned over 600 hours of yoga training with various teachers. I continue to study with both Annie Carpenter and Richard Rosen regularly. My teaching style is alignment-based, empowering, focused, yet playful.
My home is in the vibrant San Francisco bay area. I lead classes in studios and corporate offices in San Francisco, Oakland, and Berkeley. I host several yoga retreats per year that give me the opportunity to guide and connect on a much deeper level. These retreats happen in the U.S. and abroad.
I am grateful to be a part of the faculty at Yoga Garden for their 200 and 300 hour teacher training program. These trainings happen throughout the year, and are led by a dedicated team. In the summer, you can find me guiding SUP (Stand Up Paddle Board) yoga classes on the San Francisco bay!
I began a daily meditation practice in 2014, and watched my life shift. I currently lead regular meditation sessions at LinkedIn Headquarters, and Salesforce Headquarters in San Francisco, and in private and small groups.
