Michelle Nayeli Bouvier, B.S., E-RYT, I-AYT, is a 20+ year somatic educator, GYROTONIC® Trainer, PRANA VINYASA® Teacher Trainer, certified yoga therapist, and founder of the Kutilaa School of Embodied Resilience.
Michelle has been teaching yoga at studios, festivals, retreats, privately & in corporate leadership since 2000. She has spent years in-depth study with some of the leaders of yoga in the west: Tim Miller, Tias Little, John Friend, and Shiva Rea, for whom she's a teacher trainer & assistant.
Michelle has been a pioneer in multidisciplinary movement as medicine, as one of the first teachers of AcroYoga, the creator of Hoop Vinyasa, bridging modern movement science with ancient yogic teachings of embodied practice. She specialized in training teachers in Fascia & Biotensegrity, and the new lens of spiral alignment in embodied yoga practice.
Michelle has been fortunate to study in-depth with Christopher Tompkins & Christopher 'Hareesh' Wallis, the roots of embodied practice in the Tantras & living Tantrik Philosophy.
Her work is devoted to building bodymind resilience - movement longevity & mental-emotional resourcing - through yogic living & embodied practice honoring the body's spiral design.
