This training course was one of the most informative and remarkable training that I have followed the last two years. The practical analysis, philosophical approach, historical reference was broken down to be understood and received by all participants in a simple way. It was a very rich teacher training and workshop weekend from every aspect of the above training categories that I would recommend, and I would gladly repeat it in the future.

This retreat was a great experience, it provided me with lots of food for thought and I enjoyed every part out of it! It was thorough, detailed, and profound, while at the same time it was also rejuvenating and interactive. I consider myself a very lucky person, having met Thina. She is always willing to share her knowledge and expertise, in a very friendly way, full of love and respect. This was a very pleasant surprise and I highly recommend it.

About Thina Chat (Yoga Fusion Shala)

Human nature is a moving one, either moving outwards to express ourselves while practicing to overcome the illusion of our separated existence from the rest of the world, or moving inwards, towards our innermost source finding our truth in unity with everything, we are part of this ongoing universal flow. This point of view, way of life or philosophy, is the fundamental element that sets my intention in everything I do. Sometimes all it takes is a leap of faith to overcome fear and set everything in motion... and my story and Yoga Fusion's started somewhat like this.

I am a certified E-500RYT  and a YACEP (Continuing Education Provider) registered with Yoga Alliance, with Sivananda and Asthanga being the main Hatha yoga traditions while walking this path , a certified Ayurvedic and Classic massage therapist, and a voice and movement artist and performer.

Moving a lot and changing places since an early age in my life not  only shaped me to a little nomad but also  pointed me towards the direction of keeping centered inside when everything outside was constantly shifting and changing.

Yoga came to life when I was 12 after a serious traumatizing event  that found me emotionally  shattered and developed further into into a deeper inner practice when two years later a serious spinal injury made me change my perspective and ways that I perceived, appreciated and connected with my body, discovering the finer inner layers of this practice that go beyond the external physical experience of performing asanas. Suddenly I had discovered comfort, soothing, freedom within, and a new vision that anything was possible.

My immense love for singing and performing, led me to study classical singing, dance and musical theater performance and on 2011 I decided to move to the Netherlands to continue working professionally with music. Within my 7 years of stay there I followed a two year Sivananda yoga teacher training with  Rama Shakti Janine Brall at Yoga Vidya in the Netherlands/Germany and started teaching intensively since 2013. Before the amazing experience of following a  teacher training with Manju Pattabhi Jois, I had the luck to practice with Ma Bela Burgos Lipat KPJAYI authorized Ashtanga teacher that really shaped my practice and made me   fall in love with this tradition.

In 2017 I decided to follow my intuition as my compass once again, and dedicated a year of my life in the Karma Yoga path ''The Cycling Sutras'' crossing Europe from the Netherlands to Greece on my bicycle, fundraising money for ''The Smile of The Child''... leading me ''back home'' when the idea of having a yoga school and a base of my own took form... manifested... and ''Yoga Fusion shala'' was born.

Settled in the Greek northern lands in the heart of Ioannina city center, if I am not in the shala you will find me singing and playing in the Urban Yoga Collective Kirtan band, escaping in nature, taking my tent and bike for some camping on the mountains, spending my time rafting down rivers, cycling south to the west cost seaside, or arranging my teacher training courses and retreats, visiting various places to teach workshops around Greece and abroad.

Professional development in: Sivananda, Ashtanga,Yin, Vinyasa and Aerial Yoga, Acro yoga and  Yogadance, Yoga anatomy, Alexander-technique, Voice and movement Integration. Research and study upon Yoga/Vedanta/Tantra Philosophies, bodywork, movement and yoga anatomy, with a blend of different hatha yoga traditions are the inspiration behind my ''Shiva-Shakti Flow'' courses.
