As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

My experience with Yoga Centric’s teacher training program was worth more than I could’ve ever imagined. I had never been to the studio before, so I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. I was welcomed with open arms and always felt comfortable. Upon meeting everyone on the first night of class I was confident that I would be given the tools to walk out as a knowledgeable yoga teacher, ready to teach Vinyasa classes. All schedules, curriculum, expectations, and assignments were well organized and clear. Our teachers, Candice, Alexis, and Emily were tough yet supportive. They pushed us to meet every challenge, but not before preparing us to do so. It was a wonderful experience and one that i will never forget!

I truly believe my education at Yoga Centric has given me a leg up when looking for teaching opportunities. As a long-time practitioner there before YTT, I have always appreciated the quality of the teachers at Yoga Centric. The preservation of quality directly translates to the training I received. Emily, Alexis, and Candice brought warmth, empathy, and humor to this training. Learning from these three skilled individuals is an opportunity I do not take for granted. I truly feel like the training lives up to its motto, "this is the part where you find out who you are."

Yoga centric and the 200 hour ytt breathed life into me, and gave me a place to be at home with myself. Forever grateful for the instructors, my classmates, and the studio.

Waiting years to embark into YTT I found Yoga Centric, my home based studio the institution to complete the journey. The instructors are well versed and seasoned providing all that is needed to support one on their path to becoming an asana teacher and yogic practitioner with depth, love, humor, devotion and the impetus to persevere into success. The practicum is very dense covering all the introductory essentials going in depth into yogic history and philosophy giving the student a strong foundation into yoga. The 8 month commitment is beyond worthy of a lifetime milestone and all of the events, workshops and special features of the curriculum are saturated with golden nuggets of wisdom and incredibly nurturing experiences along the yogic path. This is the part where you find out who you are, and no doubt you most certainly will.

Wonderful studio filled with love, community and like minds. The YTT experience should be made a requirement for all individuals in public schools to a certain degree. I believe it would make for a kinder, empathetic, intelligent population.
