My journey started long before I even knew of my destination to become a yoga teacher. In 2015 after opening Yoga Centric, a Harford County, Maryland based studio, my excitement for bringing new possibilities to the community through yoga grew faster than I expected. With so many ideas and dreams for both the studio and community that was developing, I knew getting my certification was necessary. I had to be able to carry out many of my visions for Yoga Centric, not by expecting of others, but actually doing them myself.
Now as an instructor at Yoga Centric, I have learned the full benefit that yoga can bring me both on and off of the mat. In addition to my Vinyasa training, I have continued to expand my knowledge and experience through the completion of my 300 hour training and additional trainings in yin yoga, meditation, anatomy and studio management.. Additionally, Yoga Centric now hosts their own YTT where administration and management has become one of my favorite studio roles.
Next up on the docit it a second location to spread the Yoga Centric philosophies to the Eastern Shore of Maryland and open a studio on the beach.
Who knows what's next? Whatever it is, I know yoga is the anchor and as long as I stay committed to my practice, life will be sweet!
