The Yoga East Healing Arts Studio 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program blends the ancient philosophy of yoga science with the contemporary art of teaching yoga as a transformational practice of self care and health and wellness.

In this program we will explore a variety of contemporary yoga styles including:

  • Hatha Yoga
  • Vinyasa Flow
  • Restorative Yoga
  • Gentle Yoga
  • Senior/chair Yoga

This unique blending of yoga traditions, both alignment and energetic focused, gives our students creative choices and allows them to bring a variety of yoga styles into their teaching. Our 200 hour yoga teacher training program is approved by the National Yoga Alliance and meets the standards for certification through that organization.

In our 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training program, also approved by Yoga Alliance, allows each student to create individual goals and learning objectives while completing core content in philosophy, anatomy, special populations, functional movement and posture assessment. Electives include

* Yoga Nidra.         *Restorative Yoga
*Meditation.            * Pranayama
* Yin Yoga      * Trauma-Informed Yoga

and other intensive courses. Practicums are available to work with Cancer patients, Seniors, and those with other special considerations such as Parkinson’s Disease and neurological disorders or addictions.
Many of our primary instructional materials were written by Judith Hanson Lasater and Mukunda  Stiles.

In business since 1995, finding inner peace partnership schools have trained thousands of students in yoga.  Each of the individual partnership programs are Registered Yoga Schools (RYS) with the National Yoga Alliance and have superb faculty with years of experience in yoga . Collectively we share a similar syllabus format  and teaching tools based on Self Care, holistic healing and a integrated mind,body, spirit  approach to teaching yoga.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.
