200 Hour Training

Our 200 hour teacher training sessions are divided into 10 modules that can be completed in 5 or 10 months.

Students can choose a fall program that meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  The Fall program starts in September and the course meetings end in February.  This option is perfect for students with school-age children or participants that prefer to break the material up into short absorbable blocks.

We offer a weekend teacher training option that meets two Sundays a month from 7:00 to 6:30 and begins in April.  This program is perfect for students that work during the week and would like to cover the material during the weekends.

500 Hour Training

Our training program is modular and is personally designed for each student based on his or her previous experience and goals.  The program includes workshops, classroom sessions, directed personal study/practice and private instruction with the director, Toni Farris, ERYT500.

I've been a member of Balance in Wichita Falls since it opened and was so excited to get the opportunity to take Yoga Tree Plano training at my yoga home. Although the course became additionally challenging due to a worldwide pandemic, I feel that being able to focus to the practice of yoga during that time allowed me to find a sense of peace that I may have been lacking otherwise. Toni and Carson kept me inspired to learn more, even when the work was challenging for me, they answered my questions in a way that it started to become second nature. And I know that I will always be able to rely on my teachers and my classmates to help me as I continue to learn as I teach.

Yoga Tree is an excellent Yoga Teacher Training Program is an excellent program. The teacher is so knowledgable on the anatomy of the body and continually amazed me with her understanding of how everything works together. She also practices the Yogic Philosophy in her own life on a daily basis, so can speak to the Yoga Sutras from an experiential level. I would highly recommend this program!

Tony is an excellent teacher, woman and friend. She is very well prepared in every aspect of yoga, from teaching to philosophy, from techniques to history... Nevertheless, she accompanied me "by hand" through the training in every moment, understanding my difficulties to learn and teach in another language. I was blessed to have her in the path of my life. I hope to meet her again one day, either in the States or here in Italy!

Yoga Tree Plano’s 300-hour advanced teacher training prepares its trainees to teach principles and techniques of yoga that are more advanced, and to teach with greater skill, than could reasonably be expected of an RYT 200.
