Whether your goal is to explore your own practice on a deeper level or to become a certified yoga teacher, this training will help lay the stones to pave your path. Asana practice, pranayama, meditation and yoga philosophy will combine with practice teaching and hands-on adjustments to bring a greater understanding of what is happening in both the body and the mind when we practice yoga.

Join Allison Berlin (E-RYT 500) at The YogaLoft for this 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa based yoga teacher education program. The program includes a weekend meditation retreat and unlimited classes at The YogaLoft for the duration of the training. Topics of study include the Ashtanga Vinyasa practice and philosophy, the history of yoga, the bandhas (physical energy locks), pranayama (breathing techniques), principles of alignment, anatomy for yoga, teaching methodology, and the Sanskrit names of postures. As Ashtanga provides the foundation upon which most flow yoga classes are built, we’ll also explore asana sequencing for Vinyasa, other types of flow classes and Yin. This training program will prepare you to meet whatever comes your way, inside or outside the yoga room, with grace and certainty.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I felt very fortunate to be trained at YogaLife Teacher Training. We've trained with highly trained instructors who have helped us immensely to gain the knowledge on fundamental yoga, anatomy, and many more subjects. We also have spent numerous hours of drills to teach yoga. This program was beyond my expectation and has helped me become a confident Yoga instructor. Full Review
