Roots Yoga is one of the most welcoming yoga communities and I was thrilled to hear that Ginger would be offering a training program. Ginger brought some of amazing instructors in to assist with modules on Ashtanga, Alignment, Anatomy, Assists, Trauma-informed, Ayurveda, Yin, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, and Arm Balances. The training was spread out over 10 months where we met one weekend a month. I found this schedule to be extremely helpful and manageable. With the time between physical meetings, we were able to digest what we learned and also prepare homework assignments for our next meeting. Ginger is extremely knowledgeable in so many areas of yoga and has so many amazing connections to the yoga community in the greater Boston area. She is also extremely supportive of her students and does everything she can to help each student succeed in teaching. Throughout the training, Ginger placed strong emphasis on becoming comfortable with practice teaching to prepare each of us to be able to teach a full class successfully by the end of the 10 months. Even though the last few months of our training were interrupted by COVID19, Ginger did an amazing job keeping the momentum going and kept us all on track. We're now a month or so out of training and a majority of our class is currently teaching or has plans to teach at studios in the near future. I highly recommend this training program to anyone who would like to further their yoga practice, especially those who have a real passion for teaching.

The training at Roots Yoga Burlington was well organized, extensive, and well-executed - especially given the pandemic happening in the middle of training. Ginger creates a supportive and peaceful learning environment, where students can grow and practice teaching without fear of judgment. Many guest teachers provided additional areas of expertise in addition to Ginger’s wealth of knowledge, and the curriculum was thorough and lessons well thought out. Would recommend to anyone interested!

Ginger is a charismatic leader who believes we all have the power within us to share our love for yoga with the world. Her positive energy radiates through the community at Roots Yoga Burlington. After years of contemplating this journey, I knew walking into Roots it was time to embark. As trainees we were exposed to a unique set of yoga teachers from Roots and beyond the studio walls. In ten months, we took a few field trips, moved our practice outdoors, and learned to dig deeper within ourselves, turning our work into play. Our RYT200 training may have completed, but that hasn’t stopped Ginger from reaching out and supporting us all as we journey onto the teacher mat.

A magical experience with a supportive community. I would highly recommend the 10 month RYT200 program at Roots. Ginger is personally invested in everyone’s success, carries a wonderful energy into everything she does, and shows you that everyone has a yoga teacher inside them. Go find your inner yoga teacher with Ginger!

Roots Yoga is one of the most inclusive and supportive yoga communities. Ginger’s warmth and love for yoga radiates and inspires everyone around her. Ginger brought that energy to our teacher training every day and cultivated an environment of joy and support. Her commitment to her students and our growth was palpable, and will make us all better teachers in the end. After completing training, I know I have a yoga community for life.

I have so much gratitude towards the Roots Yoga 200 teacher certification program. Ginger worked with each of us independently and ensured a strong group bond. The monthly classes were as much instructional time as they were bonding time between us. Even as the pandemic worsened, Ginger was able to pivot and ensure we all met the goals of the program and touched base with us to ensure we were progressing in a way that was acceptable to all of us. Ginger has many connections with certified yoga instructors from her studio and also outside who came in taught and shared their personal knowledge. This was a life changing event for me personally and I truly feel like I came out a different, a better person on the other side.

Ginger and her amazing group of instructors exceeded all of my expectations. When I started teacher training, I had absolutely no intention of teaching. Being in front of so many people was something that was so far out of my comfort zone and I never thought I would know enough to be able to safely lead and guide a class. I am so happy to say that I could not have been more wrong. I graduated from the Roots training feeling so confident in my knowledge and understanding of yoga history, philosophy, poses, sequencing and most of all safety, that there was no way I wasn't going to go on to teach. I started teaching directly after completing this training and have not looked back. It was truly life changing for me. You cannot go wrong with Ginger and her amazing group of instructors. I promise it will be the best investment you will ever make in yourself! Thank you Ginger and Team! You truly changed my life forever!
