    Training Program held on Sep 05, 2020—Dec 19, 2020

I was introduced to Yoga about 13 years ago. But I have to say my real journey began in 2017. That year, In January I lost a big piece of myself that I was never going to get back. After nearly 5 months and near death myself I got up and went to hot yoga. As cliche as that sounds it changed my life, my mindset. I excepted an invite to a yoga retreat that was leaving the very next day. I didn’t know anyone. But at the moment in my life, I didn’t feel I knew myself anymore. That retreat changed my understanding of yoga, my personal practice and most importantly, My Path in Life. I found purpose again. Since then I found myself doing back to back yoga challenges. Even challenging myself. 2 reaching 157 days and the other 221 days often times going more than once a day. I found my peace in yoga. In the poses. The stillness. The meditation. Finally, In 2020 I decided to take the 200HR YTT, I just felt the desire to deepen my practice. I wanted to understand more. What it all meant. And what all these crazy words/names these amazing instructors would say during practice. Hot Yoga of Mill Creek’s, Kristen, is a beautiful soul. She has extensive knowledge of all things Yoga! She’s continuously supportive even after you graduate. She takes pride and cares so much about each and every student. Kristen takes her time with you and she’s ready to explain at help at any time. The curriculum was super organized and well planned out. Our class always worked together and by graduation, we were all more of a family. I am so very grateful for Hot Yoga of Mill Creek. Rachel James for opening your arms & your studio to me 13 years ago. It’s truly like coming home every time I walk through the door. Kristen Morten for being a phenomenal instructor AND for a life-changing experience. I feel truly blessed and I loved everything about my 200hr with you ladies. I will be forever grateful for you. Namaste

There’s a lot to be said about completing training in the middle of a pandemic! Kristen and Rachel made sure we were able to complete all of our requirements despite multiple shut downs and were very supportive through our entire journey. I am excited to use the knowledge I gained through this program to better my life and those around me. I couldn’t have done it without them and their support!

This was such an amazing program I took through Hot Yoga of Mill Creek. It was well organized, and the instructor was knowledgeable, helpful and always available. I liked the program especially because of the length. Having a 14-week program allowed me time to move at a steady pace and absorb the information being taught. I not only enhanced my knowledge of Yoga, but I was able to grow and learn more about my personal self. This course covers not only in-depth instruction on over 100 poses, but it covers alignment, breathing techniques, meditation, anatomy and the history and philosophies of yoga. Most importantly I learned how to teach. Upon graduation I was able to plan, sequence and execute teaching a class, this includes everything from the opening breathing, final stretching and creating a playlist. This was a wonderful investment, one of the top decisions of my life. I will be continuing my education through Hot Yoga on Mill Creek with the 300hr certification.
