Alicia was born in Spain and become a professional athlete at the age of fourteen years old. She began her yoga journey about 10 years ago while she moved to United States to study at University of Miami. Alicia first turned to Yoga to recover from a serious physical injury she acquired during her career as a professional swimmer. Through yoga she discovered how to connect and balance her mind, body and soul.
As an experienced yoga teacher with over ten years of practice and teaching experience around North America, Europe and Asia. Alicia combines yoga teachings with holistic healing programs and Reiki courses. Her holistic approach allows her to work with the student as a whole, listening every part of the being.
Alicia has been teaching Yoga Teacher Training with different schools in Thailand since 2015. She is currently teaching YTT at Vikasa Yoga Academy in Koh Samui for the last 3 years. She is teaching overseas as well, Spain, Guatemala, Laos and USA.
