Scholarships

Who Our Scholarships Serve: With strong roots in yoga philosophy, we recognize the marginalization and under representation of certain communities in yoga. Therefore, our scholarship program is designed to increase diversity, accessibility and inclusivity in yoga spaces. Each year, we offer scholarships to people from the following communities: BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, Person of Color), Educators (K-12 teachers), PWD (Persons With Disabilities), Seniors (65 and older), LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer), and active military and law enforcement. If you're a member of one of these communities or if you plan to serve one of these communities as a yoga teacher, you are eligible to apply for a scholarship. How to Apply for a Scholarship: Please submit a one-page essay via email to info@onlineyoga.school. We'd like to learn more about you and what you plan to do as a yoga teacher.

I think that Steph Mitchell, the director of Online yoga school is doing a remarkable job with her team of Yoga teachers in bringing about a comprehensive and great online teaching resource for aspiring yoga teachers. Had it not been for their continued support and guidance throughout, it would not have been possible for me to do this training. The self paced course is designed so that the trainees can take their own time in studying and practicing the yoga limbs. I love the fact that they continue to upgrade their course materials and add on to their courses library by giving so many options for trainings that can help new yoga teachers find their true niche by diving deeper into their learning of yoga.
