Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

The training was comprehensive and included many resources. Steph provided many insights relative to yoga philospy and practice. I really appreciated the support provided by the knowledgeable instructors and staff.

I took Steph's 200 hour previously and knew without a doubt I wanted to take the childrens training with Steph also. It was a wonderful experience, and I am now teaching kids yoga classes regularly. The training prepared me adequately for this and I can confidently teach

This was the third time I took a 200 hour ytt. I enjoyed this one so much more than the initial one. It's interesting in that the initial 200 hour training was a destination training in India. Then I took an online training with renew which was terrible. Finally I decided to try this one with Online Yoga School, Yoga and Ayurveda Center. It filled in the blanks for me. Steph was very thoughtful in putting the training together. I enjoyed the classes with Haley. Evelynn was also very helpful with providing feedback on my personal practice. Vanessa gave me confidence to teach. I would recommend this training to anyone.

This RPYT Prenatal and Postnatal YTT was so much fun! I really enjoyed the yoga philosophy for pregnancy. I found the prenatal and postnatal anatomy modules to be helpful. My favorite modules were the breathwork for pregnancy, mantra and mudra for pregnancy. The Mommy and me Yoga was also fun, and I loved the prenatal ayurveda! I learned so much more in this training than I anticipated.

I would recommend this training to anyone who is considering taking it. It honors the roots of yoga and pays proper respect to yoga philosophy. The yoga anatomy module is helpful. The sequencing prepared me to teach a yoga class, and the modifications and asana support features were useful.

A lot of people do not think online yoga training is effective or even counts as training, but I found this training to be well rounded and deep - bringing yoga (beyond asanas) to life. Steph Mitchell-Ball is such a kindhearted human being and shares her knowledge and passion for life and yoga with all the students. This even shines through in her prerecorded videos. I wish the anatomy portion was done better - more video demonstrations would be helpful to make those connections (this was portion was done by another teacher in the school).

I really enjoyed the detailed demo of the various poses depending on trimester and mobility. The use of various props along with different considerations to keep in mind were comprehensive
