A science-based yoga school set in the beautiful Okanagan, we are a Yoga and health & wellness training company. Graduates of this program may be able to register as a certified yoga instructor or apply continuing education credits to their profile. Founded in 2015 by Physiotherapist Brett Wade and Occupational Therapist Siri Marken, we offer mindful Yoga teacher trainings, and workshops for continuing education.

We respect Yoga and teach it in a safe and science-grounded way: we were seeing people get injured in Yoga taught by teachers who didn’t understand anatomy or were more interested in the aesthetics of the posture than guiding students on a safe Yoga journey. This was a major opportunity for awakening and alignment and the Yoga Science School was born. Proud of our teachers education and experience, our courses focus on posture, alignment, and the physiological benefits of Yoga and breathwork.
