Great place to learn!! I did Ashtanga Vinyasa 200hr course here. It was a great learning experience at Samyak. Yogacharya Rakesh is highly knowledgeable and also someone who knows how to deliver it to students. Yogacharya Siddhappa and Yogacharya Nagendra possess rich knowledge and experience who generously and patiently share it with their students. Ayurveda and Anatomy classes by Dr. Meghna ma’am were truly enlightening. From Yoga Shalas to cafeteria, food to rooms everything is so well-maintained. I am glad I chose Samyak, and I’m truly satisfied. I highly recommend Samyak for all the aspirants. I wish Samyak more growth and success!!!

I would say that I had an excellent experience at Damyak yoga. The instructors are very knowledgable and engaging. The course was quite tough but extremely rewarding and enjoyable. The facilities are excellent, especially the location. I gained a lot of knowledge in all areas of yoga tradition.

Samyak Yoga ticked most of the boxes for me. A comprehensive teaching of the asanas. We covered a wide range of asanas in detail in the afternoon asanas clinic. The philosophy classes with Rakesh were super interesting and engaging. I liked that we started teaching in small groups from week 2. It led to us being pretty confident in that environment by the time we finished the course. We covered a basic syllabus on pranayama and Ayurveda. The ashram is beautifully clean and the food is excellent. The situation of the ashram by the Cauvery River was a big plus for me, total immersion in the course, no distractions like you would have in central Mysore or Rishikesh, for example. The teachers here are highly experienced and highly educated. The price at the time of my course was also pretty decent.

I did the 200h Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training with Samyak and am super grateful for this intense and great experience! The training you receive is very in depth and much more than what I had hoped for. If you are looking to learn in the traditional, authentic way, about where Yoga really comes from and what its practice means, I can definitely recommend going! The tight schedule can easily be a knowledge overload, but the people, the calm natural scenery around, the INCREDIBLE food, are a great base for this (yup, the food mostly, really:D)! Starting the day with the asana practice of the Primary Series. I think it was greatly thought through that this was led for the first weeks, and then turned into Mysore practice, a great way of learning the Series through physical experience. You get a good foundation of Pranayama, Ayurveda, Anatomy, a hint of Meditation practice and learn all about cleansing rituals - I loved that Jala Neti became a regular event! Great focus on the philosphy of Yoga, which can come short nowadays in the Western World, so this was eye-opening and highly significant. You go into detail of every posture, spending up to an hour on a single asana (limitations, benefits, adjustments, variations, etc). Fast paced, but a depth you don't often encounter in Teacher Trainings. Also a huge Plus at Samyak is the opportunity you get to teach within the training already. They really care about the authenticity of Yoga in all its ways, also meaning you get to eat Ayurvedic/Yogic food, witness rituals, etc. Personally I was missing some feminine energy in the space and the way we were treated. As much as I am a fan of the traditional way, it can get a bit hirarchical and "old-school" at times in the way we were taught - I would appreciate if this became more "on-eye-level" in the future. Otherwise a caring and very supportive community! I am very grateful to them.

Highly skilled teachers, friendly atmosphere, truly deep dive into traditional ashtanga yoga, meditation and ayurveda. I am glad that I chose Samyak Yoga as my first school and looking forward to coming back for the 300-hour course, especially given that they are building new Yoga Shala.

Had an amazing experience at the Samyak Institute of Yoga, my complete immersion into Hatha Yoga - Ayurveda - Yoga Philosophy – Breath Work – Meditation & Anatomy has literally been life changing. The complete team were excellent, their depth of knowledge was on another level. Would go back to continue my studies with Samyak. Could not recommend the Samyak Institute of Yoga and their team highly enough. 10/10
