Our Yoga Alliance Approved 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training intensive immersions in Costa Rica, Italy, and other locations internationally will give you three weeks to focus on your yoga practice with other curious, interesting people from around the world. It is a time for you to enjoy life while learning about the timeless tradition of yoga, cultivating true health and happiness and making new friends. Investing in a Yoga Teacher Training Certification Program is a life enriching experience even if you have no intention of teaching.

LAKSHMI is the Goddess of love, good fortune, beauty and prosperity. She blesses those with clear focus, goals and direction; especially on the spiritual path.

RISING means to advance, grow or ascend.

VINYASA is the sacred dance of breath and movement.

YOGA is integration.
Lakshmi Rising Vinyasa Yoga is an awareness-based practice that includes fluid, dynamic asana, kriya, pranayama, mantra, meditation, dance, wellness, self-care and ritual for health and awakening.

This approach is a revitalizing laboratory for uniquely experiencing and expressing Self while mindfully honoring whatever exists in each present moment. Our practice cultivates mental, physical and spiritual strength and flexibility so that we are able to recognize and transform habits, patterns and conditionings that cause suffering in any way. We use the mat as a metaphor to understand where we are stuck so that we can eliminate that which does not enhance the unfoldment of our individual and collective evolution.

Some practices are challenging, vigorous and will require self-discipline. Some practices are slow and juicy with space for rest and relaxation. Both styles are valuable, both are important. Lakshmi Rising is the place where sweat, tears, openness and fun meet softness, quiet, introspection and self love. This is an inclusive method available to everyone. In the lineage of Sri Krishnamacharya, we affirm that anyone who can breathe can practice yoga. The Lakshmi Rising technique makes the practice accessible to all. We “fit the Yoga to the body rather than trying to fit the body into the Yoga”.

Benefits include grace, flexibility, strength, balance and well-being in the body and mind. You may also feel a sense of purpose, clarity, creativity, focus, connection, inner peace and confidence.

We are influenced by the Yoga lineage of Sri Krishnamacharya taught directly from his son TKV Desikachar, Classical Tantra from the teachings of Sri Kapilnath and Sri Mahendranath, Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms, Shiva Rea’s Prana Flow and the ageless Wisdom imparted by great sages and artists from cultures near and far. Lakshmi Rising Vinyasa Yoga integrates time tested traditions with modern knowledge and insights designed to awaken and inspire you.

Truly once in a lifetime experience. I came in with some expectations. Of course, I'm just like anyone else that read the good reviews about the school and still had doubts even after already committed to it. At the end, it turned out to be such a great experience, more than I could imagine in the first place. Liz is truly a great teacher, very knowledgeable but also with great humility. Every moment is so worth it Full Review

Lakshmi Rising's yoga teacher training was phenomenal! I feel privileged to have trained under Liz Lindh as I can't imagine anyone else more qualified to lead yoga training. Her background & knowledge about "all things" yoga is undeniable. She was patient, kind, intelligent, and dedicated to her teaching! The program is well rounded and it expanded my knowledge. The training was very involved and the schedule kept me busy. I put a lot of work in but it was so rewarding. I strongly recommend Lakshmi Rising it to ANYONE considering Yoga Training! - In summary, Great school, great location, & great food! Full Review
