Our Yoga Teacher Training program is a comprehensive training program designed to both deepen one's personal understanding and practice of yoga, as well as provide the necessary skills to safely and confidently teach yoga to others.  If you've ever wanted to understand yoga more deeply, or share the gift of yoga in your community, this training is for you.

At Element Yoga and Ayurvedic Wellness we believe yoga is more than a set of asana practiced on a mat.  We believe that yoga is a holistic lifestyle practice designed to create peace and well-being and inspire us to promote peace and compassion in our world.  Our trainees will learn the history and philosophy of yoga, study The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, participate in Karma Yoga service projects and much more.

In addition to cultivating yoga as a lifestyle our trainees will gain precise understanding of commonly taught and practiced asana, pranayama, and meditation methods, how they effect both the physical body and the subtle body, and be prepared to share these practices with others.

This yoga teacher training is a comprehensive program that consists of over 200 hours of study, practice and teaching, conveniently spread out over the course of 8 months.  Upon graduation from our program trainees will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

The experience of the yoga teacher training program at Element Yoga and Ayurvedic Wellness was life changing! The learning environment is welcoming and immersive. The teachers are exceptional and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to deepen their knowledge and personal practice of yoga while learning how to teach and be a leader. Full Review
