Aura Wellness Center is a Registered Yoga School - RYS 200 and RYS 300 - with Yoga Alliance, which designates our teacher training program as one which follows Yoga Alliance’s standards. We are the world leader in Yoga Teacher Training correspondence courses and have been providing affordable trainings and classes since 1998.

We offer courses in many different styles: Hatha Yoga (Gentle), Vinyasa Yoga (Flow), Power Yoga (Fitness Yoga), Restorative Yoga (Alignment-Oriented), Yin Yoga, Chair Yoga, and Hot Yoga. We offer these styles as a Level 1, Level 2, and/or Level 3 Yoga Teacher Training.

We offer a combination of courses that are self paced through our Student Portal, with pre-recorded lectures and classes, as well as instructor lead courses though our Student Portal and Live Zoom Meetings. For the student that has a busy schedule and would like to complete a self paced course around their own schedule, or the student who would like a course that is structured as a live instructor led course, we have a course available for everyone.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I had actually been teaching yoga for 18 years before finally doing the certification with Aura Wellness Center. I take an integrative approach to life, and among my hesitations before joining a teacher certification program, I didn't want to swear by just one right way to teach. But when I found Aura Wellness, I liked absolutely everything about their program. I loved the careful (slower) speed and care and integrity with which every lesson was presented. The videos are calming. You can sense that Dr. Paul Jerard genuinely cares about safety above all else. He creates instructors who care about other people's well being, not about their own showing off with what they can do. I even enjoyed the assignments because they allowed me to think deeply about what I am interested in and to pursue the research and write about those topics. I looked at all the work as an opportunity to expand my knowledge, not as a chore. All the lessons were in depth, easy to follow, full of useful details, and didn't feel like "I already knew it all." It just helped me to be more confident now that I have a degree. It sort of affirmed that what I was doing was indeed the right way to teach :) because I am very much in favor of a safe Hatha practice for the majority of people that I see. It is what the average person who is over-stressed can really use! Anyway, I will continue to take more certifications from this school because of the quality of the lessons and care. They also gave perfect personal feedback when I had questions or comments. Super grateful to Dr. Paul Jerard for creating this program and the people who participated.

I have done two courses with Aura Welness Center and it is always a great experience. The content is great, the resources spot on, and Paul's dry sense of humor never fails to amuse me. Full Review
