Our mission is to bring forth mindful guides who share yoga as a path to restoring balance to mind, body, and spirit, and the continual cultivation of the soul.

At the heart of Samdhaana Yoga is the choreography of patterns of movement that directs and guides the flow of energy through the body. That flow of energy is powerful, soothing and strengthening the subtle body, and helping to restore balance physically, mentally and emotionally. Working toward that balance also creates space, a sacred space that allows for deep reflection, inner development, a sense of peace, and for those seeking it, spiritual growth. Samdhaana's gift to the world are these patterns of movement that strengthen, soothe, and support the subtle body.

Samdhaana Yoga is a heart-directed practice that uses patterns of movement to guide the yoga practice. The Training is integrative and embraces all aspects of yoga to include deep studies in philosophy for the understanding of both the physical and mental constitutional make-up of the body and the great energetic powers that be, a strong understanding of the asana and its intended purpose to maintain the health of the body, the use of pranayama and how it supports the practice, learning moving principles for the energetic aspects of the practice, understanding the biomechanics and physiology of stretching, anatomy in relation to alignment and adjustments, and how to create and share classes in multiple formats and various levels.

The Samdhaana Yoga Teacher Training has a strong focus on sequencing, sharing principles and formulas that direct the practice in multiple mandala and infinity patterns. These principles and formulas can be used to create classes for various levels of practice including beginners, foundation-based, vinyasa flow and restorative.

The training is supported with more than 75 video sequencing tutorials and more than 100 online classes. Practicing with the classes as you proceed through the training allows you to gain a feel for these beautiful patterns of movement and how they play out in different types of classes.

Training takes place over a 12-month period, meeting one weekend a month for 12 months, allowing you time to process what you are learning, apply new understandings, and prepare for next training weekend.

Samdhaana Yoga Teacher Training is held at Sacred Space yoga studio, Home of Samdhaana Yoga, in Mount Airy, NC. Visit our website at www.SacredSpaceOnline.com.

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.
