Lydia Martin, a South Carolina native, began her yoga journey in 2013. After her first class she began to immerse herself in any yoga experience she could find available, from Vinyasa to Pranayama. Wanting to deepen her practice and share her love for yoga with others, she enrolled in the Samdhaana Yoga Institute's teacher training in 2016 and began teaching immediately after graduation in April 2017.

Every class she teaches is meant to make students feel better when they leave than they did when they walked through the door. In her own practice, Lydia uses yoga to travel inward and create an internal quietness that allows her to take on life peacefully and confidently. Through her classes, she hopes to share this with her students.
