Yoga provides us with an opportunity to get to know ourselves from the inside out. Society teaches us to live externally, while yoga teaches us to live internally. It’s what makes exploring the teachings so profound. While teachers in training will learn how to teach yoga poses and sequences, this training focuses on teaching yoga students. Teaching others begins with our own personal, internal integrity, which is why we place great importance on studying yoga’s code of ethics first. Coursework includes yoga humanities, in-depth instruction on teaching postures and, sequencing classes. Great emphasis is placed on ethics, anatomy, physiology, and the meditative quality of this ancient yet timeless practice.
