Finding the “Right” Certification Program is So Important…

EVERY PROGRAM IS UNIQUE – How would you like to take the first step with an internationally-acclaimed, Yoga Alliance-accredited school?

We are The Center for Yoga Studies at Sonic Yoga NYC.  We having been training & certifying teachers for over 10 years.  We are one of the longest standing Teacher Certification programs in the world.  Since 2001, we've offered our highly-regarded 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Certification Program, and in 2012, we introduced our 500-hour Program.

If you are exploring learning to teach yoga, we'd love to be your teachers, mentors and champions.  However, it is also so critical that you find the program that fits you best.  So here are a few things you should know about our program.  When you train and certify with us:
~you'll attend a Register Yoga Alliance school
~you'll benefit from the experience and reputation of an established, internationally-acclaimed school
~you'll learn to teach and embody vinyasa flow yoga
~you'll learn anatomy and biomechanics in a way that makes it truly come alive
~you'll learn about the subtle body and experience how to feel and move prana as well as teach deeply transformative subtle-body techniques
~you'll have FUN and connect with a wonderful, lighthearted community
~your investment will be very affordable and, with both intensive and extended programs, you can choose a schedule that fits your needs
~you'll be well-equipped to find a job or start a career

Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.
