As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Samyama Mindfulness 200 hour YTT was incredible in its depth and breadth of education. It was a full immersion with people who have dedicated a large part of their lives to yoga and meditation, living in Bali. Students were primarily taught Tantric Hatha yoga but were also exposed to vinyasa flow and "heart of yoga" styles. Any of theses styles were eligible for the practicum. I learned an enormous amount of yogic theory/ philosophy and many different styles of meditation as well as how to lead and teach meditation. The vegan diet provided at the Samyama eatery 3 meals a day for the duration of the training was delicious and inspiring. The venue is beautiful and our group of students from all over the world developed a bond that we will will keep-- comparing yoga notes globally as we move into teaching in our respective countries. My only caveat is that this may not be a fit for someone definitely interested in a very athletic style of yoga.
