As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

  amazing experience. I truly am grateful to Stacy for sharing her knowledge with us , in a such an open, loving , thoughtful and truly ,real, way. She taught us so much about yoga, but also about how to practice yoga living on the off the mat. She is funny and smart ,and shows up, 100 percent , all the time, for her students. mind , body and spirit were all involved this training and it was so beautiful .The food, the lodging, the outside yoga studio, the jungle sounds , the birds, the beach, the yoga classes ,and just the all of the learning and information was amazing. Stacy teaches from her heart and soul, and I truly felt ,and appreciated that.I was reminded to listen to my heart and live from my heart. I can't thank her enough for her insights and for showing up everyday for us. It was all just a beautiful experience. It felt so amazing, physically, mentally, spiritually, it was just all so perfect. ;)

  This training was completely transformative and well-rounded. The daily structure was a great balance between deep learning, self-reflection and practice. Stacy is an incredible teacher and guide - she made us all feel very comfortable and held space for us to be vulnerable. Her teaching style is inviting, approachable and very informative. I feel grateful that I was able to experience my training here and I feel completely prepared to be a successful yoga teacher!

  Choosing Sacred Journeys Yoga school to complete my 200 hour RYT was the best decision I ever made. The school was very informative and had an amazing environment for self-development. The teacher and other staff on site were patient, knowledgeable, and passionate when it came to explaining postures, nutrition, and the depths of yoga. Sacred Journeys Yoga did not feel like a business, it felt like a family. I was able to show up as my entire self and felt comfortable being vulnerable in front of everyone. I felt at home. I am grateful for the opportunity to have been apart of the December 2022 class, and I will forever be touched by the experience I received. I look forward to helping others the way Sacred Journeys Yoga helped me. Thank you.

  Thank you Sacred Journeys, Stacy and Marc, and Casa Firefly! There was nothing missing on this 17 day yoga journey. The casitas are well equipped and so comfortable it never felt like a hotel space. The porches and hammocks are a nice touch and being nestled among the plants and animals brought nature to every aspect of the teacher training. You never knew if it was going to be monkeys, a sloth, toucans, frogs, hummingbirds or the family dog Chase that blessed you each day. Stacy is a fantastic teacher. She is thorough yet we never felt rushed. Each yoga practice brought another depth to my practice. I would go back again and again! Casa Firefly is a top tier property and perfect gem on this Caribbean side of Costa Rica.

She and her husband, Marc, made me feel extremely comfortable in a foreign country far from home and away from my family. My experience in her 200 hr YTT has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling events in my lifetime. Casa Firefly in Cahuita, Costa Rica, is something truly unique that words simply cannot describe. I left confident, loved, and supported, and ready to spread my wings and fly. More importantly, I left as a better human, inside & out! I only hope that I can return someday. I highly recommend choosing a retreat training away from your norm so that you can dive right into the practice. If you're looking for the full circle of nutrition, comfort, nature, and love to go along with your course study look no further.
