Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Loved the course content and attention to detail. Each of the teachers gave their own personal input and shared their knowledge and understanding. I feel well prepared to go out there and start teaching.

The 200 hr ytt at Yoga Sky was a very good basis for learning more about yoga practice for oneself as well as for how to teach basic yoga classes to willing participants. It was a good balance of practice, theory, philosophy, and anatomy. All the teachers were very knowledgeable, thorough, passionate, and wonderful! I would recommend this ytt to anyone who is interested in a program that gives them the time between the sessions to absorb and apply the learned material and is looking for a high standard of learning in a friendly environment with a good and responsive connection to the teachers.

The 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Sky provides a wonderful and comprehensive foundation. The teachers are highly experienced and provide a detailed understanding of the different Asana families and of safe sequencing, cueing and adjusting; a good breadth of anatomy training and explanation of its application to postures; and, an interesting overview of pranayama and philosophy. Over the year-long training, there are many opportunities to practice teaching different parts of a class and to receive feedback, both during the training weekends and in small learning groups outside of class. As a result, graduates are well equipped to begin teaching safe, effective and creative classes at the end of the training.
