As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

General Comments
I loved that I was able to study and move forward at my on pace from the comfort of my home. But my absolute favorite part of the teacher training was the focus on accessibility and equality. I waited so long to become a yoga teacher, because I was scared to appropriate a culture that isn’t mine as a white person. That’s why I’m so glad that yoga philosophy plays a big part in the teacher training and I feel that it mentioned cultural appropriation a lot, which I find very important. One of the reasons I decided to take this teacher training was that I knew that it had a special module from Diane Bondi on equity and I was not disappointed. Her classes opened my eyes anew and I learned a lot. And last, but not least: it was a joy to have different instructors with different bodies and sizes teach the yoga poses.
