Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Lacey and Amy make a great teaching duo. Their different perspectives and teaching styles make the training feel well rounded. It's a great balance of yoga as a philosophy and yoga as a physical practice. I learned so much and it only inspired me to continue learning!

I loved this program. If I could go through it again for the first time, I would!

Amy, Lacey, Bob and Kathleen helped me to amp up my practice, discover my voice, and share yoga with my communities. Their training was multi faceted, pragmatic, and helped me to hone my passion for yoga asanas.

This program was very organized in implementation, offered digestible, in-depth, responsible and relevant content, as well as ample opportunities to practice teach. The various workshops and guest instructors offered a wealth of knowledge and experience. What makes this program unique is the time and space provided to feel safe and supported as we applied lessons learned and further explored our personal yogic journeys.

Feeling so whole and grateful after my experience at the Sonoma County Yoga School. Wonderful program! Ran by experienced, knowledgeable and invested teachers, Amy and Lacey. The way the course was set up made it easy to incorporate it into an already busy schedule. SO beyond thankful I was apart of this program. I wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else in the world. Such a grounding and transformative time. If you are at all debating this program, take the leap of faith and DO IT!

The instructors at SCYS are incredibly knowledgeable and experienced in all aspects of yoga whether it be anatomy, history, pranayama or otherwise. What makes working with them really special is how much they genuinely care for their students. They create the most loving and supportive container that from beginning to end you feel safe and cared for on your journey to becoming a yoga teacher. I’ll be forever grateful for my experience.
