As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

The 300-hour yoga teacher training at Waynesville Yoga Center (now the Yoga and Bodywork Collective) was in person, in-depth, and amazing. The teachers were all knowledgeable and presented their material well. The course content was relevant and interesting with enough flexibility to appeal to person interests. I highly recommend this course and any offering at The Yoga and Bodywork Collective.

The instructors of WYC are very knowledgeable and unbelievably kind. I was able to talk to them if something came up with me. They listened and helped me through out the process of becoming a yoga teacher. Any questions I asked they answered. Any challenges I had they helped. WYC was very assessable. The schedule was doable and worked well with my job schedule. I couldn't have asked for a better place to learn to be a yoga teacher.

Waynesville Yoga Center was a great place to go through my YTT for my RYT 200. The spacing out of the training was what drew me to the studio, so that I had sufficient time to digest the information from the various YTT modules. The studio is warm and welcoming to any and all yogis.

An amazing experience with a small cohort of people! Love how trauma informed the program is and how the teachers encourage you to find your own path to what you want and how you want to teach.

I overall enjoyed this program. It was accessible for my schedule around my family & work. Being you are in class one weekend a month as opposed to other programs that are a full time commitment for a shorter period of time made it all possible to obtain my certification. I feel the curriculum could use some work as far as how it is broken up, but overall I learned a tremendous amount and left the program with confident ability in teaching yoga.

I'm so glad I chose Waynesville Yoga Center for my 200 certification. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable about everything from yoga philosophy to practical guidance on cueing. The biggest differentiator is the extensive time each student spends actually teaching, which is far and above other programs. I got such valuable feedback on my unique teaching style and learned how to tailor it to my strengths. The focus at this school is not how the pose looks, but at the way each student can express it effectively within their own abilities.
