At Blue Ridge Yoga, we are dedicated to you and the transformational process of yoga! We build our teacher training in our safe and beautiful space where you will feel comfortable asking questions, making friends, and of course changing your life through yoga!

Our program offers additional anatomy and teaching methodology so you feel confident in your knowledge. Our program will give you the ability to teach a variety of classes and tailor them to the population you are teaching.

Throughout the training and after graduation, we are committed to offering opportunities for your growth as a teacher. This includes an extensive mentorship program where you will start teaching in small groups with the guidance of a senior teacher beginning in the first month of training. To continue your learning opportunities after training, we offer community classes where you will have the opportunity begin your teaching experience in our safe and supported environment. You will also be able to participate in our community workshops where you can ask questions and continue learning in our large community of teachers in Knoxville.

We believe that through yoga we can change our lives to be more fulfilled. We are excited to share this knowledge with you and continue to support and guide you even after your training ends!

Namaste!

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

    Training Program held on Aug 23, 2019—Mar 29, 2020

I absolutely loved my teacher training program. I bonded with each instructor and fellow trainee. I had just moved to Knoxville but immediately felt at home within the Blue Ridge studio. I learned so much about the principles, history, and philosophy of yoga, as well as the physical practice. It was a very well-rounded instruction including all different types of yoga for different ages, and body types. It evolved my own practice and also how I approach practice with students. I have recommended BRY TT to many people and will continue to do so.
