As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

One of the best decisions I've made in my life was choosing this training. It is truly unique for me. Taryn believed in me before even knowing me, welcoming me from the bottom of her heart. She honored me by bringing me into her journey, despite my vision and hearing impairment. This was the most surprising and rewarding aspect that affirmed my decision to join this incredible school. The support and love I received from this school fulfilled everything I was searching for. They embraced me warmly, making me feel deeply appreciated. This training has left a lasting impression on my heart, one that I will never forget. Taryn, Yann, and Alka provided me with all the knowledge and tools necessary to become a great yoga teacher. Taryn, in particular, is an exceptional yoga teacher. I give her a perfect score of 100/100. She goes above and beyond, giving her all for her students. She creates a wonderful and comfortable space, both externally and internally, allowing you to feel free and fully present in your practice of asanas and pranayama. She encourages you to channel all your energy because she herself puts so much passion into what she does. Yann is an excellent anatomy teacher, capable of answering any questions thrown his way. Alka is equally impressive as a philosophy and kundalini yoga teacher. The best aspect of this school is the blend of ancient and modern yoga practices. This combination was exactly what I needed. The accommodations are incredibly relaxing and comfortable, and the atmosphere is serene. I couldn't be more grateful for discovering this training and being a part of it. All the love, Rebecca

Attending Loka Yoga school was one of the best decisions of my life! I put a lot of research into choosing a school and I’m confident I landed at the best school for me. The small class size and personal touches from Taryn made it so easy to choose Loka. She cares so much about all of the students and it shows in every part of the program she has created. I learned more than I could have imagined in anatomy, philosophy, asana workshops, and so much more, and I wish I could have stayed for months to keep learning from her and the team. The friends I made will be in my heart for life. And now we are all confident and creative yoga teachers! I always felt very safe and loved both at the venue and as a part of the training. We all had constant support from Taryn and Yann. I became a more confident, knowledgeable and self-loving woman as a result of this training, and I can’t wait to teach yoga and share it with anyone who is interested!

I realized a 200 hours YTT at Loka Yoga school in April 2024, it was an amazing experience!! I was looking for a school that could deliver a high quality teaching, in a safe and friendly environment. Loka Yoga exceed all my expectations! The teachers are highly qualified, they share all their knowledge. Taryn, the lead teacher is brilliant, she has so much knowledge and experience, she answers all the possible questions, she is an incredible women, such an inspiration! The YTT is extremely well organized, everything is planned in order to learn as much as possible and in a way that your body and mind can adjust depending on how you feel. The venue is amazing! I learn so much and more than I thought possible. After 4 weeks, Loka Yoga gives you all the tools to become a Yoga teacher!

Loka yoga is an incredible yoga school. They provide professional training and unique experiences. The schedule was manageable and the training was incredibly thorough. I loved the amount of care and detail that went into the training. I would highly recommend Loka Yoga to anyone!

The most fulfilling, challenging, insightful experience to becoming a yoga teacher. I thought I would just “learn to be a yoga teacher” but I got SO much more from Taryn, Yann and Alka. I am not only a confident yoga teacher now, but I’ve also learnt and become aware of so many more things about myself. I am so grateful for the experience, THANK YOU Loka Yoga School!!
