About Lisa Greenbaum

Lisa Greenbaum is a Yoga Teacher, Writer, World Traveler and Business Savvy Dreamer with a strong passion for fitness, yoga and movement. Her focus is to empower her students through the practice of yoga and mindfulness to find a deeper connection to Self and to build community through workshops, retreats, classes and private sessions. Lisa is known for bringing an easy-going style to her teaching and encouraging everyone to honour and listen to their bodies. 

Winner of the 2018 Delegates Choice: Canadian Presenter of the Year at the canfitpro conference, Lisa has also been included as part of Optimyz Magazines’ 100 Health and Fitness Influencers in Canada 2017, 2018 and 2019. She is a current Global Ambassador for the Women in Fitness Association (WIFA), a Lorna Janesponsored athlete through their Active Elite program and sits on the Editorial Advisory board for both Optimyz and canfitpromagazines. Lisa has presented at numerous conferences Internationally including: canfitpro, Addictions and Mental Health Ontario, Trauma Talks and The Yoga Show in Toronto, FILEX and the Ignite Yoga Summit in Sydney, Australia.

She has over 750 hours of YTT education and has studied in Canada, US, Australia, Bali and India. She is also a certified Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer with canfitpro. Lisa has been teaching group fitness and Yoga in Toronto since 2001.


Lisa has worked with countless individuals, including her own personal practice, using Yoga based practices to release stored trauma from the body, finding ease from chronic pain and tension and a deeper connection to Self: mind, body & spirit. An avid writer and traveler, with regular contributions to Tonic, Optimyz and canfitpro magazines, and her own personal blog. She teaches Yoga in Toronto at GoodLife Fitness, PUR Yoga Torontoand her own private studio and is currently accepting private clients both in person and online. She also provides business consulting for studios, teachers or coaching for new teachers.
