Devi Daly (formerly Debbie Daly) E-RYT 500, YACEP, teaches classic yin yoga and transformational singing and is passionate about making these practices available to people of all ability levels. In 2003 she founded Tucson Yoga, a vibrant community-centric yoga studio in Arizona that grew to serve over 20,000 students per year, and continues to be one of Tucson's top yoga establishments under new ownership.
Devi has taught several styles of yoga since 1999 and now specializes in yin yoga and yogic chanting. As a Yoga Alliance trainer, she conducts continuing ed trainings nationwide for yoga teachers wishing to expand their skills. Her approach to yin practice is inspired by her extensive studies with yin yoga founder Paul Grilley, and she was among the first group of teachers to be granted his 500-hour certification.
A longtime professional singer and musician since childhood, Devi's background in vocal arts has inspired her unique approach to yogic chanting. Outside of teaching yoga she also leads energetic group singing experiences and in 2015 she founded Sound Orchard, a musical arts nonprofit through which she co-directs West Marin Choir.
Devi teaches yin yoga classes at Point Reyes Yoga, the studio owned by MC Yogi. In her personal practice Devi enjoys conscious dance, playful movement, vocal improvisation and outdoor adventure. She can often be found hiking, biking, swimming or paddling around her home turf on the Point Reyes peninsula.
