Alejandra is the Nook's program director and she is passionate about teaching. She was fortunate to find yoga at a young age and ever since then she has been a life time yoga student. She maintains a disciplined meditation practice that supports her wellbeing and journey in life. Alejandra holds a BA in Language and Humanities and taught for many years in the classroom where she introduced yoga to her students. For her, sharing the physical, emotional and mental benefits of yoga has been a true gift. She finds great joy in witnessing her student's growth and is constantly inspired by their practice. Alejandra attends trainings, retreats and workshops all year round in order to share new and fresh practices with her community. She continues to develop programs in mindfulness, yogic philosophy, yoga for trauma and currently yoga for autism and special needs.
