Muning was first introduced to Yoga when she was 15. While there was neither a yoga studio nor a teacher available at that time, she self-studied yoga philosophy and meditation for years. What inspires Muning the most is the journey of self-realization and the spiritual connection to the higher divine. She became a lifetime student to Yoga ever since and is still feeling grateful for multiple studies trips in India and learning opportunities under great teachers like Dharma Mittra, Swami Asokananda, Sri Manju Jois, Kino McGregor, Tim Miller, Alan Finger, Beryl Bender Birch, Avery Jones and Jule Febre.
Although she has a strong physical practice for years, she feels more fulfilled and complete by practicing meditation, pranayama, philosophy principles, spirituality and many other aspects of yoga altogether. Muning practices and studies various styles of yoga, including Iyengar, Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Power and Gentle Vinyasa, Dharma Yoga, Restorative, Yin and Prenatal. Muning’s teaching is inspired by integrating tools from different styles and approaches in order to customize classes and teacher trainings for her students. She strives to be clear, challenging, insightful, and resourceful to help her students to understand their body awareness, efforts towards ease and joy of the practice.
Muning believes every student is an individual who has a different body and needs different approaches to yoga. Muning’s goal as a teacher and trainer is to inspire her students to find balance, happiness and inner peace both on their mats and off the mats in their lives through the practice of yoga. Currently, Muning offers Hatha and Vinyasa practices, Prenatal Yoga, Private sessions and group classes, Yin yoga workshops, Teacher Training programs and is registered E-RYT 500, RPYT and YACEP (Yoga Alliance Continue Education Provider).
