About Niisa Morton

Niisa loves teaching people how to help and restore themselves, giving them power over their own health and wellness.  Starting out in the fitness field as a Pilates instructor and personal trainer, Niisa was always learning more methods and techniques to help her students become stronger, develop better self awareness, and achieve balance in their lives.  Yoga had been in her life for over 20 years but it wasn’t until 2004, when she became pregnant, that she committed to a weekly prenatal class.  It was in her yoga class where she felt most comfortable exploring the transition to motherhood, physically and emotionally.  This experience inspired her to pursue her 200-hour Kripalu/Pranakriya Yoga Teacher Certification in 2006 and complete her 500-hour certification in the Pranakriya tradition in 2010.  She also holds a certification in Pranakriya Prenatal Yoga.  In addition, Niisa is a certified instructor with HealthyMoms Pre/Postnatal Fitness, YogaEd, Balance Body, Power Pilates, Barre Above, AAAI/ISMA, and AFAA.
