As a long time (20yr) regular practitioner of Yoga, Full-time Yoga Teacher (12yrs), Teacher Trainer, & lifelong Student of Yoga, I highly recommend the Fistri Kundalini YTTC to anyone, whether you are a beginner just wanting to learn more about Yoga for your own practice, wanting to embark on your Yoga Teaching journey, or an experienced & long time practitioner & Teacher of Yoga who wants to deepen your own practice & knowledge of Kundalini. The course is very well structured and having daily interactive sessions provides each student with lots of individual support for whatever level they are at, with very friendly and knowledgeable Teachers, that teach with clear & simple explanations from a traditional perspective. One thing to mention though, is that this is not the type of 'Kundalini Yoga' that is generally practiced/taught in the west, as their Asanas are based around the physical Ashtanga yoga tradition & poses/sequences, so don't expect to learn the poses/movements you might practice at your local Lululemon Kundalini yoga class, & always keep in mind one's own body's limitations & injuries & remember Ahimsa & be mindful & gentle to one's own body, as Ashtanga can sometimes be a somewhat forceful style of physical practice. However the Philosophy & Chakra awareness practices will add a whole new level to your Asana practice, especially if you have mainly studied & practiced in the west more physical practices with Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga or Iyengar, & I think that learning set sequences from Ashtanga will be easier for beginners to get a good foundation of general poses to confidently teach Asana. I only did the 50hr as I did not have time to commit to a whole month, but would recommend if you have the time to block out for the training to do the entire thing, I would like to do the 200hr at some point in future as I immensely enjoyed the course, and to try to attend the live sessions (even though you can watch recordings), as it is much more interactive & engaging when you are doing it with other students & also have the opportunity to ask questions to the teacher when touching on particular areas of personal interest, (however you can always email or ask on the whatsapp group as there is lots of support provided to students as I mentioned earlier). I cannot recommend this course highly enough, in terms of content, support, as well as value for money, and will give beginners an excellent foundation in the understanding & philosophy of Yoga as well as deepen the understanding & practice of experienced Yogis.
