I completed over 600 hours of Yoga Teacher Training and have a diploma in Dance Movement Therapy. Over the past 3 years I managed a Yoga School in Auckland, being responsible for their Yoga Teacher Training programme. This included management of the faculty, curriculum writing and development, student support before, course coordination.
I am Lead Trainer on the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in traditional Hatha Yoga. My main teaching threads are Hatha classes including Pranayama and meditation, Yoga philosophy and lifestyle, teaching methodology and skills, Mantra and student support. I specialise in traditional Hatha Yoga (Satyananda lineage), Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Mantra and Kirtan.
I immersed myself multiple times in India in meditation, mindfulness practices and Yoga from 2013 onwards and continue to do so. As a Yoga Teacher I draw from the Bihar School of Yoga in North-India which is part of the Satyananda lineage.
I am experienced in making Yoga accessible to "every body". I tailor the practices to people's needs and meet them where they are at. Mental health and wellbeing is dear to my heart and I support people experiencing anxiety and high stress levels in my classes and with online resources.
