I discovered yoga during University in 1998 and have been teaching since 2007. I travel the world to join workshops and training with teachers like David Swenson, Richard Freeman, Bryan Kest, Tias Little, Peter Sterios, Godfrey Devereux, Natanaga Zhander, Shiva Rea, Edward Clark… and several other teachers from my home town Turkey and other places.
I fell in love with Bikram Yoga in 2008 after my very first class in Paris. I decided to go to San Diego and graduated as a Bikram Yoga teacher in the fall of 2010. Since then, I’ve taught in United States and all over Europe.
In November 2011, I opened the first Bikram Yoga Studio in Istanbul, Turkey with Bikram’s support. We organised many workshops and advanced classes with senior teachers. We also supported our students to attend to TT and become a Bikram Yoga teachers themselves.
I’ve now moved to London with my family and have started to teach yoga in London studios...
I have also started to meditate in a very young age with my mother's guidance and complete 10-day Vipassana course later. I maintain a meditation and yoga asana practice which allows me to be aware of this present moment openly, kindly and without judging…. Also to remember who I am, why I’m here and what matters. I teach and practice mindfulness through the form of asana."
