Based in Edinburgh, I am a certified yoga teacher and have been teaching since 2014. I completed my initial teacher training in Ibiza and my advanced teacher training in India. My goal is to design and deliver friendly and adaptive yoga classes which help beginners find a comfortable starting point and those who practice regularly to deepen and develop their practice.
I believe in living a life full of joy, gratitude, and free of judgement, these feelings inform and guide my teaching and practice, which is focused on helping people to develop a better connection to themselves and with their surroundings. I teach Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa flow, with a focus on posture alignment, breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation. Yoga is a powerful mind/body practice and vital life skill which anyone can learn for personal development and improved quality of life, regardless of age, weight or level of fitness. In an increasingly demanding, noisy and busy world, yoga provides tools to cultivate inner peace, harmony and regeneration. I offer public and private yoga classes, workshops, retreats to help people start, build confidence and develop their own yoga practice. It is important to remember that when it comes to yoga there is no such thing as ‘perfect’ there is only ‘practice’.
Classes are delivered in 3 parts - breathing, postures and relaxation. Mats, blocks and blankets are provided. Additional classes are available on request and can be tailored to meet specific needs.
