My first yoga class was Bikram Yoga. I practiced it for about 3 years, and very quickly, the daily practice was an important part of my life.
In 2009 I tried an Ashtanga Yoga. My teacher at the time, Lori Finch, offered a RYT200 Yoga Teacher Training (200-hour yoga teacher training). That was fantastic and by the end of the first month, I made plans to make yoga my career, and started teaching right after. While teaching exclusively online I have students all over the globe. I've trained with leading yoga, anatomy, and philosophy teachers including David William, David Robinson, Taylor Hunt, Tymi Howard Bender, and Kino MacGregor.
For me, Yoga is about the balance between strength and flexibility, exertion, and releasing. So, my classes combine both strength and mobility work in an Ashtanga Vinyasa style. Expect to move, sweat, and breathe.
