About Lilian Leone

I discovered Yoga in 2006. At that time I was overweight and felt terrible, my health was not good and I was looking fora more meaningful life. There was a studio close to my house where I began taking classes. My first yoga class was Bikram Yoga. The heat was intense and I thought I was going to faint, but later I felt great. The Studio offered a two days pass to try the class, so I went back the next day, and the next and the next for about 3 years, and very quickly, the daily practice was an important part of my life.

I lost weight and I was feeling much better, Iwas ready for the next challenge. In 2009 I tried an Ashtanga Yoga. My teacher, Lori Finch, offered a RYT200 Yoga Teacher Training (200-hour yoga teacher training). That was fantastic and by the end of the first month, I made plans to make yoga my career, and started teaching right after. While teaching exclusively online I have students all over the globe. I've trained with leading yoga, anatomy, and philosophy teachers including David William, David Robinson, Taylor Hunt, Tymi Howard Bender, and Kino MacGregor.

For me, Yoga is about the balance between strength and flexibility, exertion, and releasing. So, my classes combine both strength and mobility work in an Ashtanga Vinyasa style. Expect to move, sweat, and breathe.
