Meghan has more than 3,500 hours of training in the fields of yoga, Pilates, and fitness, and her focus teaching is to help the students who come to her classes establish healthy movement, mental, and energetic patterns for themselves. She uses multiple modalities to make mindfulness, committed practice, and growth both achievable and consistent.
As a Navy veteran she is no stranger to patience and perseverance, and she applies that to her own practice and her teaching daily. While the awesome asana is fun and inspiring, that’s not always what it’s about. She meditates daily and is passionate about sharing the practice with others.
As a mountain runner and climber she is able to cater to the needs of high performance athletes, and works individually with others who want to ensure they can live independently as they move forward with life.
Meghan has studied extensively with Douglas Brooks, Shannon Paige, Richard Rossiter, Jeanie Manchester, Amy Ippolitti, Richard Miller, Gary Kraftsow, Jaime Amor, and others to deepen her academic understanding of philosophy, anatomy and physiology, Pilates apparatuses, meditation, Yoga Nidra, pranayama, the physical anatomy of the emotional realm, yoga for stress and anxiety, yoga for PTS and addiction recovery, yoga for children, and more.
