Monica Mathews is currently registered with Yoga Alliance as a 500 E-RYT, and certified Continuing Education Provider or (YACEP). My book, and DVD "Yoga Wherever You Are" are available on my website. With over 30 years experience in personal training, teaching yoga, group exercise classes, university classes, hospital settings and senior specialty workouts, I have had the privilege of working with a variety of students. My yoga school, Monica Mathews Yoga provides a very practical approach to learning the skills necessary to teach yoga to any level participant. Art, music, anatomy and yoga history play a big role in the make up of the yoga school curriculum. My thirst for knowledge and learning new skills have always kept me on my "yoga toes". Teaching brings me great joy. There is something very rewarding about addressing the needs of a diverse group of yogis and making each one feel successful and included.
