About LaMor

 

 

LaMor Silas is a C-IAYT as well as Yoga Alliance® registered RYT-500 and E-RYT® 200 teacher with over 4,000 hours of experience leading yoga classes and guided meditation sessions.   She is a graduate of the YogaFit® 500hr, 200-hour RYT, Warrior (Trauma Sensitive Yoga) 120-hour program, and 100-hr Ayurveda Coaching program.  In addition, she has completed the iRest® (Integrative Restoration Institute) Yoga Nidra Level 1 Teacher Training, the Yoga Awareness of Cancer Program at the Duke University Center for Integrative Medicine, and has participated in numerous Yoga for health conditions seminars through Life in Yoga Institute. 

 

Nationally, LaMor is a Master Trainer with YogaFit® International providing RYT Yoga Teacher training curriculum.  Locally in the Florida area, she provides services through the Wounded Warriors Project, Moffit Cancer Center,  local physicians and facilitates private and group physical fitness, yoga, and meditation sessions including the use of the iRest® trauma-sensitive protocol utilized throughout many VA hospitals and recognized as a CAM by the U.S. Army Surgeon General & Defense Centers of Excellence. 

 

LaMor provides workshops and seminars suitable for CEUs on a variety of topics include Meditation and Mindfulness Techniques for the Private Practitioner, Techniques for Leading Group Meditation and Mindfulness Sessions, Cancer Awareness for Yoga Teachers, Yoga Philosophy (Yamas & Niyamas, Paths of Yoga), Chakra Balancing, Introduction Ayurveda, Alignment Tune-Up Techniques, Yoga for Special Populations (Seniors, Prenatal, Cancer, Trauma).
