Sivananda Yoga Vidya Peetham ( SYVP ) follows the teachings of Swami Sivananda Saraswati of Rishikesh and his disciple Swami Vishnudevananda Saraswati. 
The teachings are based on the 5 principles of yoga as given by Swami Vishnudevananda Saraswati whose lineage the the founder Swami Govindananda Saraswati belongs to. 
This Yoga and Vedanta institution was founded in 2010. 
The course teachers other than the founder are 1. Swami Tattvarupananda Saraswati, Swami Nivedanananda and Mani Chaitanya. Courses are assisted by experienced staff from different countries.
The courses offered by SYVP are 1. Yoga Teacher Training Courses - level 1 ( 200 hours ). 2. Yoga Teacher Training Course - level 2 ( 300 hours ), Yoga Sadhana Camps of 1 week duration and Hatha Yoga Intensive ( 2 weeks duration )

Sivananda Yoga Vidya Peetham was a deeply profound experience. If you are looking for an authentic, traditional training in yoga with deep knowledge and teachings in philosophy, this place is for you . The Satvic diet is a definite highlight as well. Full Review
