Om Shree Om is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance, which designates this teacher training program as one which follows Yoga Alliance’s standards. Students who complete a verified training with this school may be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs).

Christine McArdle founded Om Shree Om, a Teacher Training for Children´s Yoga in Berkely Heights; New Jersey in 2004 and was the first teacher training to register with the Yoga Alliance as a specialty training in 2011. Christine is an educator, passionate about raising awareness in educational styles and parenting styles for the good of all humanity. Since it´s birth, Om Shree Om, a play on words for Home Sweet Home  has grown into one of the most influential schools for training teachers to share yoga with children worldwide thanks not only to Christine´s passion and enthusiasm but also the methodology behind the training itself. Om Shree Om aims to carefully lead teachers through a personal journey into their own childhood to remember and to heal so that they as a guide serving our youth, can bring out their highest selves while revealing their keen ability to see and meet their students where they are and from that point of contact create "epic" yoga classes for them. An epic children´s yoga class is one that is not only interesting and fun, but is also highly therapeutic and profound, combining elements that nurture, protect and balance mind, body and spirit though and through. This teacher training has always focused on the need for teachers of children to be highly trained, not only in yoga asana, pranayama, philosophy and in living a yoga lifestyle but also in the complex art of communicating with and truly educating our youngsters. This methodology gives the tools needed for teachers and parents a like to clearly "read" the needs of their children and/or students and to create and adapt their teachings to what is truly needed by them mind, body and spirit. We want children to grow up consciously in love with their own home sweet home, their true nature, mind, body and spirit, so they may live in harmony and balance with themselves and with all of nature. 

Since moving to Spain in 2008, most of this school's yearly trainings have taken place in Europe, Spain being the leader, however, for years Christine has trained teachers in Utrecht, Holland, Aix en Provence, France, and Hamburg, Germany. In South America, Om Shree Om has been active since 2015 training yearly in Peru, Argentina and Brazil. In Central America, many teachers have learned this methodology in Costa Rica. Soon Christine will again teach in English with Soma Yoga Institute in an o line format.
